The Crystal Clear automatic heated wiper blade system includes two heated wiper blades, a 3M mounting system, and a control module. The module connects directly to the battery and senses when the ignition is started if it is running in temp. of 5°C (41°F) or colder then it will automatically turn the blades on. All standard blade sizes are available from 16" to 28" in length.

CAN I CONNECT TO ANY POWER SOURCE?
 
For the system to run properly the system must be connected directly to the battery. If you are connecting the system to a commercial vehicle or semi-truck you can connect it to the fuse panel but it must be before the fuse, as to get the appropriate amount of voltage.
 
WILL THE BLADES DRAIN MY BATTERY WHEN THE ENGINE IS OFF? HOW MUCH POWER DOES THE SYSTEM DRAW?
 
No, the blades will not heat when the vehicle is not running, thus not draining power. This is done through the module which detects when the vehicle is running by reading the spike in voltage when vehicle turns on, then recognizing the decrease when your vehicle turns off. Thanks to this feature the blades will not draw any power when the vehicle is not running. (when system is running it draws 2.1 amps) 
 
WILL THE SYSTEM AFFECT MY VEHICLE WARRANTY?
 
This system will not affect the warranty because of its non invasive installation process. Unlike a rust module you don't need to drill into the body of the vehicle. 
 
CAN EACH WIPER HEAT SEPARATELY?
 
The wipers do not heat separately, they are designed to have a continuous circuit. Therefore both blades must be connected for the system to run properly. 
 
HAVE YOU DONE TESTING ON THE PRODUCT?
 
The system has been thoroughly tested by globally recognized testing facilities to ensure the highest product quality possible. SAE Durability testing to ensure product longevity. Our blades have been operated for 500,000 cycles and still continue to provide a streak free windshield. Extreme Temperature Testing to ensure our blades continue to perform even under extreme weather conditions. IP67 Certified to make our system fully protected from dust and withstand being fully submerged in one meter of water. FCC certified to ensure our system will not interfere with any of the vehicles electronics.
